You can still take your time to enjoy the process, but using a higher quality of product will minimize the strain. Here, we’ll take a look at a delicious recipe for you to put your slicing skills to the test.

Butterfly Venison

1 boned deer ham

1 1/2 cups of olive oil

3 tablespoons of soy sauce

1 tablespoon of salt

1 tablespoon of paprika

1 tablespoon meat tenderizer

4-to-6 chopped garlic cloves

Juice of 1 whole lemon

Step 1: Field dress, skin and then quarter the deer, holding your ergonomically designed SOG knives

Step 2: Using the knife, remove any sharp bone pieces, all fat, as well as any sinew

Step 3: Take a large piece of meat and bone it using one of your SOG knives so there are thick pieces and thin pieces.

Step 4: Marinate the meat by combining all ingredients into a container and then keeping the container lid closed for 2 hours.

Step 5: Cook the meat over hot coals to the guest’s taste preferences. It may take 30 minutes for rare large pieces to finish cooking.

Step 6: Combine meat with grilled whole onions over the fire, then serve

You’ll find the deer meat can then be used in sandwiches and in salads over the coming days and weeks! To discover more great ways to create delicious meals using the latest SOG knives, speak with our California knife experts today at
